Griffithstown Art Group
Starts  Sept. 2010-Mid July 20011 School term time.


The art group is currently used by people who have found the media they like using. The group is informal in its structure and allows its members to continue developing their artistic talents and to socialise without the coursework often associated with traditional art classes.

Many users chose to move between mediums such as pastels, watercolours, acrylics, even textiles. I offer my years of experience as an artist and art tutor to help them develop their strengths and overcome any difficulties associated with using these mediums. This is more of an art group than an art class and for many who attend it it is just as much about getting together with friends, as it is about art.

We meet each Wednesday, term-time between 10am and 12 midday, with a break at 11am for tea and biscuits. The class is held in Griffithtown Community Hall, Griffithstown, Pontypool, Torfaen.
The Group have recently been asked to show paintings in local exhibitions.

£5.00 per 2hr session paid monthly free tea or coffee/biscuit.
